Recruitment and Interviewing Techniques

Gives supervisors and managers the tools to effectively recruit
and select the right person for the right position.  Participants learn
the do’s and don’ts of interviewing; general and position
specific interview questions; anticipated candidate questions,
including salary and anticipated financial growth, and how to write
offer and rejection letters.

Time Management

Time does not discriminate.  Everyone is given 24 hours each day to perform. Participants are asked to list and prioritize tasks based on professional and personal necessity for a given day. Each task is reviewed based on the time allotted to achieve it. Participants are taught to manage time as effectively and as productively as possible.

Handling Performance and Disciplinary Action

Giving managers the tools to identify, discuss, manage and implement disciplinary action when needed.  Conduct vs. Performance is key to administering the appropriate disciplinary action. Participants learn how to identify the difference between these two issues and implement the appropriate disciplinary action.

General Supervisory Management

This workshop is designed for new supervisors and managers.

Workshop covers topics such as: Interviewing and Selection Techniques;  Employment At -Will and Effective Disciplinary Action Procedures.

Workplace Harassment

Interactive workshops that give participants the opportunity to discuss and identify harassment through role plays and activities. Workshops provide recommendations based on best practices.

How to Manage and/or Resolve Conflict
Participants will learn the costs and benefits of conflict, 
analyze the impact of conflict on their
organization, and discuss the components of an effective
conflict management and resolution system.

Assessing Utilization Skills of Staff

Effective selection procedures focus on getting the right person into the organization. The success of this process depends on knowing basic management techniques, which may include making the decision to go outside the organization to recruit.  It also involves assessing how staff members think they are treated. It involves identifying key internal and external incentives for retaining employees.
